Tulip Air Virtual was founded at the end of 2024 as a Virtual airline and is dedicated to offline and online flight operations on the VATSIM network.
The most important thing for us is being a functioning and supportive community that guarantees new and experienced pilots a great simulation experience.
You want to fly online and don't yet feel confident in dealing with rules, behavior, phraseology, etc.? You want to learn a new aircraft model and are longing for a helpful community? You are an experienced pilot looking for a fun new community full of training and mentoring?

A little bit more about us

A fun Dutch/English discord server where our pilots can join and help each other in their hobby.
A timetable focussed around our dutch bases EHAM (AMS) and EHGG (GRQ).
A loose management. Timetableflights are always prefered. But If you want to fly charters, go ahead. Rather want a freeflight? Go ahead! As long as you have fun and are learning. ;)
A exclusive and custom livery for the aircraft in our fleet.
A custom sound pack for use in SLC or packx. For that extra bit of immersion.

A basis skillset in flight simulation. You know your way around simbrief, navigation charts and flight management systems. You know how to fly SID's and STARS.
Or you are eager to learn the above.
Reasonable activity. Flightsim is a hobby. But we'd love to keep the airline active and, eventualy, get our livery in the VATSIM database. we can't do that without your help.

Tulip Air Virtual operates out of 2 Dutch hubs. Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and Groningen Eelde airport. We focus on short and medium haul routes for now. Our short haul routes go from Groningen to the Dutch and German Wadden islands. THey range from 00:30 to 01:00 hours in flight time.
Medium routes range from between 01:00 to 03:50 hours in flight time and travel to several exciting destinations in Europe and beyond.
In future we will be looking to expand operations to long haul routes as the company grows.

We use Newsky as our flight logging, rating and economy system. In our experience it is an alround, good, easy to understand and integrated flight logging system. We love it for that!
